Sandra Bisson, PsyD
Sandra L. Bisson, PsyD, LMFT has been a clinician for over twenty years. She has had experience in public schools, university counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, juvenile justice and private practice. She has earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Bisson’s treatment approach draws from a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Creative Therapies. Dr. Bisson works with all ages providing therapy and a wide variety of testing (psychological, developmental, and educational). Some areas of experience and specific study include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Needs of the LGBT+ community, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Dr. Bisson is originally from Rhode Island and enjoys returning to New England whenever she can. In her free time Dr. Bisson enjoys playing classical guitar, figure skating, art, and reading.
